Your public booking page is a branded page at your-organisation.sportsbookingmanagement.com showing live availability, where customers book themselves without calling you. It opens to customers when you go live.

Turn it on

  1. Open Settings and find the Public Booking section
  2. Enable the public booking page
  3. Copy the link shown there — that is the URL to put on your website, your Google listing, and your social profiles

Brand it

  • Upload your logo, which appears at the top of the page
  • Write a welcome message — opening times, parking, what to bring, who to call
  • Check your contact email and phone in Settings, since they are shown in the page footer

The welcome message is doing real work. It is the only place on the page you can pre-empt the questions that otherwise arrive as phone calls.

Decide whether bookers need an account

By default a visitor books with a name and email and no password. That is the lowest-friction option and the one most facilities should start with.

If you need every booking tied to a user record — for membership, for safeguarding, for a permit process — turn on requiring an account for public bookings. Expect fewer casual bookings as a result; it is a real trade, so make it deliberately.

What a customer sees

  1. Your branded page with the availability calendar, opened on day view
  2. They click a free slot and fill in name, email, and optionally phone, number of people, and what it is for
  3. An estimated total, where the venue has pricing attached
  4. Either a Stripe checkout, if you take payment online, or straight to a confirmation

What they can book is governed by the venue settings you already have: operating hours, durations, increments, buffers. There is no separate set of public rules to keep in sync.

Before you share the link

  • Open the page in a private browser window and make a real booking
  • Confirm the confirmation email arrives and reads the way you want
  • Check inactive venues are absent and your venue order makes sense
  • Check the venues you do want are all present and bookable

Your public booking page is indexed by search engines, so it can be found by people searching for your facility by name. That makes it worth getting the welcome message and venue names right.
