Three booking methods on one set of bays is the core failure
The typical range or simulator venue accumulates booking methods rather than choosing one. Public customers walk up or phone. Coaches keep their own lesson calendar because they had one before they worked here. League play lives in a spreadsheet the league organiser maintains. Each of these is reasonable on its own, and together they guarantee that on the busiest night of the week two of them will claim bay 4 at the same time.
Consolidating onto a single bay calendar is less about efficiency than about eliminating a category of failure. When every claim on a bay — public, lesson, or league — draws from the same availability, the collision cannot occur. This is usually the highest-value change a multi-bay facility makes.
